Recently the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress extracted some honey from one of their two Mansion House beehives.
Installed last May, they have produced over 60 jars of honey. They have also auctioned off a visit to the hives – surrounded by bee-friendly flowers – and jars of honey for charity.
