As a Liveryman, what has made me swell with pride is the way the Livery reacted to Covid-19 by launching the NHS Livery Kitchens Initiative to deliver 600 two-course fresh, free and quality meals per day to several Barts Health Trust Hospitals. Pure joy at the end of a long and dangerous shift in full PPE.
The Livery Companies and the City Corporation actively partner with our youth, whether this be through bursaries, career advice, or ‘just in time’ donations when it matters the most. This is a great display of our aligned commitments towards social mobility and creating equal opportunities.
